This handheld high iso pano was taken at an Astro's vs. Padre's game from the gap in let field. Off to the right you can see the old warehouse which serves as the left field foul pole, as well as being a bar for the fans.
This was my first time at PETCO. It is a nice change from the typical Camden Yard's style brick park. They have integrated the warehouse into the design very well, and there is a nice seating berm and baseball diamond behind the outfield stands where kids can burn off some steam.

Handheld Pano taken at Seal Rock in La Jolla. A word of warning if you walk to the end of the sea wall. Be prepared to throw yourself on top of your camera to protect it from waves. My camera got quite wet, but was fine after a nice fresh water sponge bath to get rid of the salt.
This beach is actually the Children's Pool, but there has been a debate for a while whether it should just belong to the seals, or to people as well.
Here is link to website about the beach.

Yep - it really says International Gliderport. I guess if you catch a little wind you can make it to Mexico, although I suspect most people land in the US.
I took this handheld pano at the lifeguard overlook just 100 yards or so south of the Gliderport. the gliderport is up near the white building.
There was not much flying going on today. One person did launch but they seemed to have trouble getting any lift. I assume they safely landed at the beach and had to hike their way back up.

View back towards San Francisco from Alcatraz, near the lighthouse.
In this pano San Francisco is behind the boat and Alcatraz is in front of us; the small island closest to us. Way off on the distance on the port side (left of boat) is the Golden Gate bridge; and on the starboard side is the SF-Oakland Bay Bridge; where the large cargo ship is heading. As for the guy in the black shirt staring at the camera, no it is not a self portrait; I don't know who that is. I was not looking through the camera as I shot this so did not pay attention to the people in the scene. If you click on Alcatraz Island on the scene above it will open a new window of a pano taken from on Alcatraz near the lighthouse.

This is not a great pano, but it is such a beautiful place that I wanted to include it. It is just south of the Oreagon / California border near Cresent City. If it looks familar to you, think back to Return of the Jedi, this was the setting for part of the movie.
