Here is my new Canon 20d DSLR mounted on version 4 of my panoramic lens ring.

The purpose of this lens mount is to prevent parralax for panoramic photos by keeping the nodal point of the lens over the center of rotation.

I typically use this on a monopod with a pole mounted bubble level, but it will work on a tripod as well.
